Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or take a sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria.
After breakfast, embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most beautiful park. En route, visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Arrive at the park in the evening, check into your lodge, and relax.
Start the day with a thrilling game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile River, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species. The boat ride takes you to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge.
Depart for Kibale National Park, home to 13 primate species, including the famous chimpanzees. The journey offers scenic views of Uganda’s lush countryside. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Head into the forest for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. Watch these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. Later, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to diverse bird species, monkeys, and beautiful vegetation.
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. En route, visit the Crater Lakes Region for breathtaking views. Upon arrival, enjoy an evening game drive to spot lions, elephants, and other wildlife.
Begin the day with a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where you may spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos and crocodiles, as well as diverse birdlife.
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The journey passes through the Ishasha sector, where you may see tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax.
Wake up early for a life-changing gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing, trek through the dense rainforest to find a gorilla family, spending an unforgettable hour observing them. Later, visit a Batwa Pygmy community to learn about their unique culture.
Cross into Rwanda and head to Volcanoes National Park, home to mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. Enjoy the stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes and prepare for another gorilla trekking experience.
Embark on a second gorilla trekking adventure, offering a different experience in Rwanda’s lush forests. After the trek, visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village for an immersive cultural experience with the local community.
Drive to Kigali, Rwanda’s clean and vibrant capital. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial before boarding a flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax.
Drive to Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous safari destination. Arrive in time for an evening game drive, where you may spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino).
Spend the day exploring the vast savannahs of Maasai Mara, witnessing the Great Migration (seasonal) and encountering a wide range of wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and continue your game drive until sunset.
Visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their rich culture and way of life. Later, drive back to Nairobi, with an optional visit to the Giraffe Centre or David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a city tour or last-minute shopping before heading to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your incredible Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya Safari.
