Day 1 :

Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your friendly Wild Bridge Voyage guide will meet you and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda. The drive will take you through picturesque landscapes, including terraced hillsides, bustling towns, and scenic tea plantations, giving you a glimpse of Uganda’s vibrant culture and stunning countryside.

Along the way, enjoy an en-route lunch at a local restaurant. You’ll also have the chance to stop at the Equator crossing for some memorable photos. By evening, you’ll arrive at your lodge in Bwindi, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings before the big day ahead.

Day 2 :

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The highlight of your adventure begins today with gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing from your park ranger about the rules and guidelines for trekking and interacting with the gorillas. You will then embark on a thrilling trek through the dense rainforest, guided by experienced trackers. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla group.

Once you encounter the gorillas, you’ll spend up to an hour observing these magnificent creatures as they go about their daily activities. The experience is intimate, awe-inspiring, and a true privilege. After the trek, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch and the opportunity to share your experiences with fellow travelers.

In the evening, you may opt for a cultural visit to the Batwa community, a traditional forest-dwelling tribe. This visit offers insights into the Batwa’s way of life and their deep connection to the forest.

Day 3 :

Transfer Back to Entebbe and Departure

On the final day of your safari, you’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning your return journey to Entebbe. The drive will take approximately 8 hours, offering one last opportunity to take in Uganda’s beautiful countryside. Along the way, stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Depending on your departure time, you can also explore Entebbe’s markets, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center, or enjoy a boat ride on Lake Victoria.

You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your flight, bringing your 3-day adventure to a memorable close.
