I travelled solo to Uganda and hired a driver-guide with a car for my trip. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made! Deno was not only highly professional and well organised, but also a fantastic person to spend time with. Thanks to him, I discovered beautiful places I wouldn’t have found on my own, and the whole journey was smooth and safe – which, as a solo female traveler, was very important to me. Going to Africa can often be a confusing and hectic process due to tough transport links and low tourist infrastructure. Which is why I would personally recommend a guide to take you around the country.

Deano was our guide during the trip and I could not recommend him enough. His local expertise and connections allows you to see places normally off the beaten path and experience things you normally would never experience. Our trip included local restaurants, banana gin tasting in a jungle and a view into local life thought our home stays (we even got to see a local bar!).I never felt bored, everything was well planned, and I truly enjoyed every moment. If you’re considering visiting Uganda, I can honestly recommend this service. It made my trip unforgettable.
