Incorrect names, passport details or other information may result in additional charges or inability to provide certain services.
For gorilla or chimpanzee trekking, accurate passport information and nationality details may be required for permit registration.
3. Safari Confirmation
Your safari is considered confirmed when:
- Wild Bridge Voyage has accepted the booking;
- The itinerary and price have been agreed;

Some services, particularly gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits, flights and high-demand accommodation, may require full advance payment before they can be secured.
A quotation or provisional itinerary does not constitute a confirmed booking.
4. Deposits and Payment
Unless otherwise stated on your invoice, our standard payment structure is:
Standard safari bookings
A 30% deposit may be required to confirm the booking.
The remaining balance is normally due at least 45 days before the scheduled start of the trip, unless your invoice states a different deadline.
Bookings made within 45 days of departure
Bookings made less than 45 days before departure may require full payment at the time of confirmation.
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits
Because permits are issued by the relevant wildlife authorities and are subject to their own conditions, Wild Bridge Voyage may require full payment of the permit cost in advance before purchasing or securing the permit.
Your invoice will specify the exact amount and payment deadline applicable to your booking.
5. Payment Methods
Wild Bridge Voyage may accept payments through the payment methods communicated on your invoice, which may include:
- Bank transfer;
- Approved online payment platforms;
- Mobile money where available;
- Card payment where available;
- Other payment methods specifically agreed in writing.
Any bank charges, international transfer fees, card processing charges or other payment-related costs applicable to your chosen payment method may be payable by the client.
The applicable payment instructions will be provided with your invoice.
Do not send payments to personal accounts or payment details that have not been confirmed by Wild Bridge Voyage.
6. Prices
Our quoted prices are based on the itinerary, number of travelers, accommodation category, transportation and services specified in your quotation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices may exclude:
- International flights;
- Visa fees;
- Travel insurance;
- Personal expenses;
- Alcoholic beverages;
- Laundry;
- Tips and gratuities;
- Optional activities;
- Services not specifically included in the itinerary.
Your quotation will specify what is included and excluded.
Once a booking has been confirmed and the agreed price has been paid according to the agreed schedule, Wild Bridge Voyage will make every reasonable effort to maintain the confirmed arrangements.
However, price adjustments may become necessary before full payment where there are significant changes in:
- government taxes;
- park fees;
- permit prices;
- accommodation rates;
- fuel costs;
- exchange rates;
- transportation costs;
- supplier charges.
Where such changes affect your booking, we will communicate them to you as soon as reasonably possible.
7. Changes to Your Booking
If you wish to change your itinerary after confirmation, please contact Wild Bridge Voyage as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes, subject to availability.
Changes may result in additional costs arising from:
- accommodation cancellation or amendment fees;
- permit changes;
- flight changes;
- transportation changes;
- supplier charges;
- increased accommodation rates;
- changes to the duration or routing of the safari.
Any additional cost will be communicated before the change is confirmed whenever reasonably possible.
8. Changes to the Itinerary by Wild Bridge Voyage
We carefully plan every itinerary.
However, safari travel involves circumstances outside our control, including:
- weather;
- road conditions;
- road closures;
- national park restrictions;
- wildlife management decisions;
- border restrictions;
- accommodation availability;
- vehicle or mechanical problems;
- flight changes;
- security conditions;
- government decisions;
- conservation requirements;
- other unforeseen circumstances.
Wild Bridge Voyage therefore reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary when necessary for the safety, security, comfort or practical operation of the trip.
Where possible, we will provide an alternative arrangement of similar or reasonable standard.
9. Accommodation
Accommodation listed in an itinerary is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Where the specified lodge, hotel, camp or accommodation becomes unavailable, Wild Bridge Voyage may arrange alternative accommodation of a similar or higher standard where reasonably possible.
If a higher-priced alternative is necessary because of circumstances outside Wild Bridge Voyage’s control, we will communicate the situation and any additional cost before proceeding where reasonably possible.
Room types are subject to availability.
Single-room supplements may apply.
10. Transportation and Safari Vehicles
Transportation depends on the itinerary and may include:
- 4×4 safari vehicles;
- Land Cruisers;
- vans;
- minibuses;
- hired vehicles;
- boats;
- domestic flights;
- other locally appropriate transportation.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that vehicles used for our trips are properly maintained and suitable for the planned journey.
African safari travel can involve:
- rough roads;
- long driving distances;
- dust;
- mud;
- road construction;
- traffic;
- mechanical delays;
- unexpected weather conditions.
Travelers should understand that journey times provided in itineraries are estimates and may change due to road and environmental conditions.
11. Wildlife Viewing
Wildlife is free-roaming and unpredictable.
Wild Bridge Voyage cannot guarantee sightings of particular animals, including lions, leopards, elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees or other wildlife.
Travelers must follow instructions given by their guide, park rangers and wildlife authorities.
For safety reasons, travelers must not approach, feed, provoke or attempt to interact with wildlife.
12. Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking
Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking takes place in protected natural environments and involves physical activity.
A trekking permit gives the traveler authorization to participate in the relevant trekking activity according to the rules of the responsible wildlife authority.
A permit does not guarantee a particular animal encounter or a specific duration of trekking.
Travelers must follow the instructions of park rangers and guides at all times.
Trekking conditions may include:
- steep terrain;
- mud;
- rain;
- slippery paths;
- high altitude;
- dense vegetation;
- long walking distances.
Travelers should honestly inform Wild Bridge Voyage of any medical, mobility or physical limitations before booking.
13. Gorilla Permit Cancellation
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are purchased through the relevant wildlife authorities and are subject to the cancellation, rescheduling and refund policies applicable to those authorities.
Permit payments may therefore be non-refundable or subject to restrictions even where the traveler cancels the wider safari.
Wild Bridge Voyage will communicate the applicable permit conditions to the client where relevant.
We do not guarantee a refund of permit costs where the responsible wildlife authority does not provide one.
14. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for every traveler.
Your insurance should, where appropriate, cover:
- medical treatment;
- emergency evacuation;
- trip cancellation;
- trip interruption;
- lost or stolen luggage;
- travel delays;
- personal liability;
- activities included in your itinerary;
- gorilla/chimpanzee trekking where applicable.
Travelers are responsible for checking that their insurance adequately covers their planned activities and destinations.
Wild Bridge Voyage is not an insurance provider.
15. Passports, Visas and Travel Documents
Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all documents required for their journey, including:
- valid passports;
- visas;
- entry permits;
- health certificates where applicable;
- vaccination documentation where required;
- travel insurance documents;
- other legally required travel documents.
Your passport should generally have sufficient validity and blank pages as required by the countries you are visiting.
Entry requirements can change. Travelers should check the latest requirements with the relevant embassy, immigration authority or official government source before departure.
16. Health and Medical Requirements
Travelers are responsible for seeking appropriate medical advice before traveling.
This is particularly important for travelers undertaking:
- gorilla trekking;
- chimpanzee trekking;
- hiking;
- high-altitude activities;
- remote-area travel;
- overlanding;
- physically demanding activities.
Clients must notify Wild Bridge Voyage of any condition, dietary requirement, disability or mobility issue that could reasonably affect the safe operation of their trip.
Information will be treated responsibly and used only where necessary for arranging the trip.
17. Traveler Conduct
Travelers are expected to behave respectfully toward:
- other travelers;
- guides and staff;
- local communities;
- wildlife;
- cultural sites;
- accommodation providers;
- national parks;
- the environment.
Wild Bridge Voyage reserves the right to terminate participation in a trip where a traveler:
- behaves dangerously;
- threatens or abuses staff or other travelers;
- damages property;
- seriously violates wildlife regulations;
- engages in illegal activity;
- creates a serious safety risk.
In such circumstances, additional costs arising from the traveler’s removal or early termination may be the responsibility of the traveler, and refunds may not be available for unused services.
18. Children
Children are welcome on many Wild Bridge Voyage journeys, but suitability depends on the itinerary and activity.
Age restrictions may apply to:
- gorilla trekking;
- chimpanzee trekking;
- certain adventure activities;
- accommodation;
- vehicle arrangements.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for children traveling with them and should discuss the child’s age and needs with Wild Bridge Voyage before booking.
19. Cancellation by the Traveler
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email or another communication channel accepted by Wild Bridge Voyage.
Cancellation charges depend on:
- how far in advance the cancellation is made;
- accommodation cancellation policies;
- permit policies;
- flight policies;
- supplier charges;
- non-refundable payments already made.
Unless your invoice states different cancellation conditions, the following standard cancellation schedule may apply to the safari portion of your booking:
| Time before departure | Cancellation charge |
|---|---|
| 60 days or more | 10% |
| 59–31 days | 25% |
| 30–15 days | 50% |
| 14–8 days | 75% |
| 7 days or less | 100% |
Important: Non-refundable supplier costs, including certain permits, flights, accommodation deposits and other services, may be deducted separately where applicable.
Your booking invoice may contain specific cancellation terms that override these standard terms.
20. No-Show and Unused Services
No refunds will normally be provided for:
- late arrival;
- missed flights;
- failure to appear for a scheduled departure;
- voluntarily leaving a safari early;
- unused accommodation;
- unused meals;
- unused activities;
- unused transportation;
- changes made by the traveler during the trip.
Where a supplier provides a refund or partial refund, Wild Bridge Voyage will pass on the applicable refund subject to any relevant fees or deductions.
21. Cancellation by Wild Bridge Voyage
Wild Bridge Voyage may cancel or substantially modify a trip where circumstances make operation impossible, unsafe or impractical.
Such circumstances may include:
- serious security concerns;
- natural disasters;
- government restrictions;
- border closures;
- civil unrest;
- severe weather;
- disease outbreaks;
- major transport disruption;

- other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where Wild Bridge Voyage cancels a trip for reasons within our reasonable control, we will discuss appropriate alternatives or applicable refunds with the client.
Where cancellation results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, refunds will be subject to amounts recoverable from suppliers and third parties.
22. Force Majeure
Wild Bridge Voyage cannot accept responsibility for delays, cancellations, losses or additional expenses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These may include, but are not limited to:
- war;
- terrorism;
- civil unrest;
- strikes;
- border closures;
- government actions;
- epidemics or pandemics;
- natural disasters;
- extreme weather;

- road closures;
- airline cancellations;
- mechanical failures;

Where such circumstances occur, we will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers and reorganize the trip where possible.
23. Complaints
We want every traveler to have a positive experience.
If a problem occurs during your trip, please inform your Wild Bridge Voyage representative or guide as soon as possible.
Many problems can be resolved immediately when they are brought to our attention during the trip.
If the issue cannot be resolved during the journey, please submit a written complaint to Wild Bridge Voyage within 30 days of completion of the trip.
We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period.
24. Liability
Wild Bridge Voyage takes reasonable care when selecting accommodation providers, transport providers, guides and other suppliers.
However, some services are provided by independent third parties.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wild Bridge Voyage cannot accept responsibility for losses, delays, injury, damage or expenses arising from circumstances that are outside our reasonable control or from the independent actions or omissions of third-party suppliers.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.
25. Personal Belongings
Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings, passports, money, cameras, electronics and other valuables.
Wild Bridge Voyage recommends keeping valuables secure and carrying appropriate insurance.
We cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
26. Photography and Media
Wild Bridge Voyage may take photographs or video during trips for operational, promotional or social-media purposes.
We will respect a traveler’s reasonable request not to be featured in promotional material.
