Day to Day Program
Day 1:Entebbe / Kampala – Gulu
Your adventure begins with an early departure from Entebbe or Kampala. Travel north through Uganda’s countryside, landscapes and lively roadside trading centres.
Enjoy scenic stops along the way for refreshments, photographs and lunch before continuing to Gulu, the main urban centre of northern Uganda.
Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your accommodation and relax after the journey. Your guide will brief you about the adventure ahead.

Day 2:Gulu – Kitgum – Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, continue northeast through Kitgum towards Kidepo Valley National Park. Watch the scenery gradually transform into expansive plains, rugged hills and traditional pastoralist settlements.
Arrive at the park and check in at your lodge. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an introductory game drive to begin discovering the wildlife and beautiful landscapes of Kidepo.

Day 3: Full-Day Wildlife Adventure in Kidepo Valley National Park
Spend a full day exploring the remarkable wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park.
After an early breakfast, head into Narus Valley for a guided game drive. Its open grasslands and seasonal water sources attract a variety of wildlife, making it one of the park’s principal wildlife viewing areas.
Look out for elephants, Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, zebras, Jackson’s hartebeest and various antelope species. Lions and other predators may also be encountered, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Enjoy a locally hosted cultural experience arranged in advance with community members. Depending on the host community and arrangements, activities may include visiting a traditional homestead or manyatta, learning about cattle-keeping traditions, listening to community stories, discovering local crafts and experiencing traditional music and dance.

Day 4: Kidepo – Kotido – Moroto – Karamojong Cultural Experience
After breakfast, leave Kidepo and travel through the Karamoja region towards Kotido and Moroto.
This journey introduces you to the landscapes and cultural identity of northeastern Uganda. Karamoja is known for its pastoralist traditions, cattle culture, traditional crafts and distinctive community heritage.
Enjoy a locally hosted cultural experience arranged in advance with community members. Depending on the host community and arrangements, activities may include visiting a traditional homestead or manyatta, learning about cattle-keeping traditions, listening to community stories, discovering local crafts and experiencing traditional music and dance.

Continue to Moroto for dinner and overnight.
Day 5:Moroto – SipiFalls – Guided Waterfall Hike
After breakfast, depart Moroto and travel towards the Mount Elgon highlands in eastern Uganda.
As the journey progresses, the open plains of Karamoja gradually give way to greener hills, coffee plantations and beautiful mountain scenery.
Arrive in the Sipi Falls area and enjoy a guided hike to the three spectacular waterfalls. Discover the natural beauty of the area, enjoy refreshing views and experience the local countryside on foot.
Return to your accommodation in the afternoon, where you can relax and appreciate the peaceful surroundings.

Day 6:Sipi Falls – Jinja – Source of the Nile
After breakfast, depart Sipi and travel towards Jinja through the beautiful countryside of eastern Uganda.
Arrive in Jinja, a town famous for its connection to the River Nile and its outdoor adventure activities.
Visit the Source of the Nile area and enjoy time appreciating the river scenery. Learn about the significance of this famous location before proceeding to your accommodation.
Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the following day’s rafting adventure.

Day 7: White Water Rafting Adventure on the River Nile
Get ready for an exciting day on the River Nile! ,After breakfast, transfer to your selected rafting operator’s base. Meet the professional rafting team, receive your safety briefing, get fitted with the necessary equipment and learn the basic paddling instructions.
Head out onto the river for a guided white-water rafting experience through a combination of calmer stretches and exhilarating rapids.
Depending on your selected rafting option, river conditions and operator recommendations, enjoy an experience suited to your interests and comfort level.
Breaks and lunch will be arranged by the rafting operator.
After the adventure, return to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening in Jinja.

Day 8: Jinja – Leisure and Nile Experience
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and spend the day discovering more of Jinja at your own pace.
After the excitement of rafting, today provides time to unwind and appreciate the beautiful River Nile surroundings.
Guests may choose to relax at the lodge, enjoy the riverside atmosphere or arrange additional activities such as a boat excursion, depending on availability and personal interests.
This slower day allows you to enjoy Jinja beyond the rafting experience before the return journey.

Day 9:Jinja – Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed departure from Jinja and travel back towards Kampala or Entebbe.
Depending on your schedule, enjoy a final stop along the way for refreshments or photographs.
Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe, where your guide will drop you off at your preferred location, marking the end of your nine-day Kidepo Valley, Karamoja, Sipi Falls and Nile Rafting Adventure.
